Sealing rings are among the most used types of rubber seals. They excel in high accuracy and are designed to prevent unwanted throughput or loss of all types of media. The sealing element in the shape of a ring acts during compression in both the radial and axial directions. Under pressure load in the system, it forms the resulting sealing force. The total sealing pressure increases with increasing operating pressure. Compared to other sealing elements, it has a number of advantages. We offer hardnesses in the range of 50-90 ºShA (standard quality NBR 70, in case of higher temperature or chemical load above standard quality FPM 80), we also have a special range of coated O-rings with a flexible core made of resistant elastomer VMQ or FPM and a cover made of FEP (fluoroplastic) , ensuring the chemical resistance of the seal. More complex or critical (FFKM) applications should always be consulted in advance.
